OJT - Day 2.

hey all.
didnt really post much since i got back from KL. sorry la. elok la still getting use to working lifestyle..today...its day2 at telecom contact center in 58th floor KOMTAR.

started at 8.30am, i reach the office after being in the rain, yet again.. shoes were wet, my back, bag and calf were all wet. crappy way to start a working day imo. had to wait for them to dry while wokring .

we had a mentor-menti thingy. so at about 9am. i was attached to a senior. andrea was her name. form sabah. been with telecom for 9 months now. kira pro la. so she taught me stuff bout the system and the ways to answer calls. fast forward.. by 4.15pm, she ask me to try la. me being my not ready self, tried my best to do it. when the 1st call came. zomg i was soooooooooo nervous la.. just like the 1st time i call the girl i like... lol.. takut takut nia..i was so lucky that my 1st 4 calls were prank calls. so kira super lucky la. by 4.25pm i had my 1st real call. but due to my unhappeningness, andrea took over la. so kira ok la. :) andrea left at 4.30pm.

now i was trasnfered to another mentor. this time also another girl. her name was shah i think or izuan / izula or something, i didnt really get her name la. she also been here for 9 months. kira pro also. semua mentor ni get the max pfp (performance) bonus wan. so all contoh bagui. after chit chating, we also know something bout each other la. kira macam bekenalan. she more outspoken a bit. on the plus side she can speak english. she form kelantan but now working here. her bday just passed nia, 21st sept. then she pro in ping-pong also. i think single also la. i didnt ask la. so she also got ask la. bday etc , single or not. family backgorund. etc la. then i also got chance to answer one call lo. with my nervousness, i missed out many crucial questions lo. so she gave me a briefing la. then she took over after that. by about 6.15pm. we were done. got back to the training room, then was told to prepare to answer calls tomorrow.

so looking forward to tomorrow :)

the WEEKEND in KL..

this was what happened.
FRI,
finished training at about 4pm. then i tried to meet up with Sean at the MTG shop at Dataran Millennium. at about 5 pm sasi was to meet me at AMCORP mall.
its now 6 pm. sasi got here. then we left for the MTG shop. we reach there about 7.20pm. all thanks to the KL jam. GG. lepaked a bit with Raj, Ah Law,Victor and Xeon - Owners of the shop., sold some cards. then we moved on to dinner. we had some kick ass ipoh chicken rice. This time, Ben the RAT joined us with his GF Ashley. after makan we went to SECTION8 - MMORPG, a cybercafe. played DOTA. Loco joined us. then Johan was there aong with Fizal, Keat and Joelin. So yeah played dota until 3am. form 10pm. its been a hella long time since i last did that. Was pretty awesome. thansk guys. and to the many new old frens i met up with. thanks =)

SAT,
Woke up at about 10am. got ready. my cousin, Nick called up for lunch at some kick ass australian butcher shop in plaza damas. sasi got to alvin's by 12pm. we hurried down to meet my cousin. and this time thanks to KL roads, we reached there at about 1.20pm. Nick had made reservations for 2pm. so we are right on time. Met up with Nick, had a few rounds around the plaza. pretty cool place, but its like Island Plaza back in Penang. nothing much for ppl like me to buy :( as expected the butcher place was packed. they sat us outside. facing the Hartamas hills. pretty nice sight, if u ask me :) after like 10mins on discussing on what to eat, i had pork ribs, sasi too, then nick had some beef thing. it was hella nice. by 4pm we were done.

after lunch, we went to mid valley to buy headphones for Nicole, Nick's sister. had a few more rounds at mid valley, enquired about the JC California club. not bad, it comes upto about RM 135.00 per months for 18months membership. i should be looking into loosing weight real soon. at about 6pm we left for some really killer cakes. at su chan deli @ PJ. the RUM & RAISIN + TIRAMISU was AWEEEEEEEEEEESOME !

i tell you, damn nice ok :) you have to check it out for urselves.

after that was dinner. this time it was back at Dataran Millenium. Picadilly, not too bad. its for like a fusion restaurant. we were here for the booze and ball. =) by 11.45pm we moved on the a Sean's house for a "tanni" session. heehehe. Ben brought the Chivas, Raj brought the coke/ice. of cos more football there. by 3am, we started drinking. lol. ben being the drinking game pro, taught the 5/10 game. sasi being the new one, lost badly :)

at about 4am we were all sleeping LOL. due to drunkness. hahaha. Its been a long since i done this too :)

all in all, KIRA happy la. did many things i never done in a long time. i see it as the last lash out b4, i start adapting the real life of an SOCer.

the day started by meeting I-Ming and hif GF Perlin at the curve for lunch. it seems they were triyng to hook chin yew up with a Vogue girl. which i forgotten the name :( i think girl3 or something la. so.. everyone was there la. Ming, Me, Sasi, Chin Yew, Perlin , Kit, Girl1, Girl2 , Girl3. supprisingly, i dont remember thier names now :( paiseh ya. incase u all terbaca my humble blog. hehe. bad short term memory wan me, everyone knows :) Girl1 was Kit's Gf, Girl2 was taken, only Girl3 was single. so they did their best to try to hook up Chin Yew + Girl3's conversations. but both of them were sitting at the opposite ends of the table. Kira, susah sikit la ni. Sasi made a some sort of blunder here =) pls ask him. as this is very subjective :)

after that Sasi and I went back to alvin's place. preparing for Jade's supprise party. Jade is alvin's GF. many many yummy food.

Third day of training in KL...

So as we all know, yesterday there was a big quake in indo. and this morning there was another one too. So we were all asked to get out of the building as there were "gegaran". we all stayed outside for a good 1.5hrs. then we all resumed and got back to studying.

From what i can see with my eye, i think 95% of the people outside are malays. imagine, telecom is almost all malays =) a very good place to learn how to be a malay i think.

Tonight we are going for wine chicken. after 9 months !!

first day at training.

Bought my flat then got on the bus to KL. reached here about 8pm. damn slow la the bus. so... well when i reached YMCA i found out, that i be sharing my room with 3 other ppl. then i decided to crash at alvin's place. way better la. after that probably move to my bro or cousin's place.

Now i be at the training office. its now 8.30am. they say should start by 9.00am + la. so now waiting anxiously at the waiting room lo. but certain websites are blocked, like msn n other chat programs. gonna be hard la. but at least ebay / email still works. so not 100% bad yet.

Will let u guy know whats up la. for now just like dunggu waiting to be educated :)

So this is it. the last post from pepepr estate... will be going to KL tomorrow. after i settle the S&P for the new flat :) i guess to all my penang frens, good bye for 18days. and to all my KL frens, hello for the next 18days. its gonna be an exciting and new experiences for me. and of cos living on my own again. tho its only for 18days, its still good practice :)

so here it is...

zomg ! i got a JOB ! even i dont believe it !

hey hey hey.
so, yeah today i signed the contract.. for 6 months @ rm 1300.00 + 300.00 + w/e. kinda cheap la. but hey, its a freakin job. cant complain right.

LOL

So yeah. i am not an SOCer. starting tuesday i will be in KL for training near bangsar. until 28th sept. then back at KOMTAR to work :) so things are looking pretty nice atm.Another good news, i would be signing my S&P agreement for my flat on monday. and to think i was going to be duped cos the company didnt contact me for a whole 2 months or so. was scared that they would run away with my 1000.00 >< thank god ! i need 10% to sign the S&P, my dad agreed to help me with about 1000.00, thats leaves 2100.00 on my end. well things did pick up :) lols. with the business doing better, and me a job and of cos the flat S&P. my portfolio is looking pretty well now :)

now to buck up my people skills and then focus on my job / business once i get back to penang.
just hope i dont fall back into being too lazy for my own good eh.

So looks like I have not been blogging for maybe 4 weeks now. Let me do a re-cap of what had happened =)

We (cikgu, sasi and myself) went for the GWEN STEFANI concert in KL last month. was a bang ! people were everywhere. chicks dudes guys girls. all were there. It was like THE PLACE to be that night. We lined up for at least 1hr and 30mins before we could get in. 5mins after we did, she jumped on the stage and started her show. she was AWESOME ! here is a little clip after the concert.



Next was the MORGAN VENTURES profit for AUGUST 2007. Well this month was hella great LOL. I manage to make a whoping rm 400.00 + in profits. Damn good jump from a -rm 150.00 + since July. hope SEPT will be better.

Now we have the latest new about me. lol. incase you guys didnt know, i started my job seeking quest since May i think. Been to about 3 interviews upto date. The latest one is at VADS Berhad part of Telekom. its like a umm... call center la. LOL. provides business solutions to all. find out more here = http://www.vads.com/main.html .They said I can get ready to start work soon. the "broker" told me la.. SO AFTER 6 MONTHS, I may get a job tomorrow -) so grats to me !

As for WOW, MY is dying. dont think will recover form this. Many of the core players have left for other guilds, mostly quit wow and asking me to sell their acct. for them.
