hells yeah. it was a blast. with cikgu n sasi. we went to genting for the concert. i tell you. it was the bomb ! the cool weather , the gambling machines the girls. everything was sooooooooooo fine.

me n cikgu left at about 12pm on friday. reach up to batang kali to find out we used the wrong roads. so did like a "U" turn thing up to gentings. sasi was already up there waiting for us. we checked in at about 6pm.......went for burger king for dinner ! yummy ! but my tonsils still hella hurt.

after a full stomach, we headed over the the concert venue. nice place. the lines were long. everyone was there. brought back the gwen stefani feeling too... lol. it started at 8.30pm ended about 10.30pm. 2 hours well spent i'll say. had some supper after that.... and after supper.... time for meds... here is a nice review 1 of 2, thanks to sasi n cikgu



we headed on back to get a good nights sleep after a tiring night. more pics n vids tomorrow :)

so what happened after teh SpiceMarket....

i had a stroke of bad luck. the next morning i woke up with a really bad sore throat. i tot it was nothing. but as the day passed, it got worst. hooked up with some of my grandma's home recipe for heaty body. didnt work.

sunday was pretty much the same. i was in pain. just stayed at home. kinda the worst weekend since i started working. o well. my mom said i burnt my throat while at the buffet. my grandma think i knocked my neck onto something. kira playing "HOUSE" la they both. LOL

monday, it was slightly better i think, my throat. met up with poopathy for breakfast. her weekend was awesome. she and her whole family had a temple function on saturday night. its like a family temple ... in teluk bahang. she said its a nice place. the function started form 8am till like 11pm. was super tired la her. then at 11pm started catching up with her visitng family members. she stayed up until 6am. then 7am she woke to leave for work lo. she looked hella tired lo.. poor thing. her dress was killer i'll say =)
at about 9am, my throat gotten worst. as though u wanna tear it out only. believe you me. i decided to go see the docs. went to the government clinic behind SXI. i been there since waaaay back in high school times. the doc told me my tonsils bengkak. semua merah-merah. gave me some antibiotics and panadol. had brunch with ming at about 10.00..cos the doc gave a time sheet. check out time was 10.30am. had to kill 30 mins lol.

to no avail, the meds were no good. tuesday was pretty much the same. i called poopathy for breakfast, but she said she was sick. i think cos she did too much on the temple function la. so i told her supervisor also la. my throat still hurts lo.

wedsnaeday morning 7am, poopathy sms me, saying she was sick again. and to tell her supervisor lo. me also not getting any better. in fact i honestly think i was getting worst. those meds are really no good. went to see the doc again. same place. he said i was getting better, gave me panadol and gargle potion. did those. felt better. at 5pm felt bad again. nuff said i decided to take MC or thursday.

today.... went to see a chinese doc- pongs recommendation. got my meds and my MC. my first MC ion 26 years =) then we went to island plaza to buy my B.E.P ticket. hella !! finally got it !!! did some shopping after that.
he dropped me home, wow a bit. and here we are.. waiting for cikgu for Siput Moi for dinner.

friday..... the day all of us look forward to.. its where you get the next 48 hours to do what ever your heart's desires. work started at 8.30am as usual.. but today i decided to wear casual to work.

work .... working ... work ... work .. then at about 12pm+ poopathy had her lunch break. she passed me some or her homemade chocolate cake... made without eggs....O.o was looking forward to eating it at lunch...then at about 1pm. my team leader came and told us.. "ok guys. sorry but can your guys delay your lunchtime by 30mins". so after asking amongst ourselves, we also said ok.

lunch was nice, we tried the satay hut. they had a rm9.90 set lunch. i had the nasi lemak set. it was killer sambal ikan bilis la.. no joke and dessert was the eggless cake :)

afterwork came. at about 5.40pm...called came for the Rasa Sayang - Spice Market Buffet ! the reply was ... yes yes, can can. cikgu n moomookun n GF la. i got back at about 5.50pm. then they fetch me at about 7pm.

So today being the last day for puasa. we can all now makan BESAQ tomorrow. dont forget to wish everyone u meet - " selamat hari raya" thats was what i did most of today at office.

but lunch was pretty good la. something really different. poopathy invited me for lunch. one of the rare events lol. cos since our breaks are not the same time, we rarely spoke, let alone have lunch together.

the sickish week so far.

the weekend was great...then came monday..

well it started on monday. with some minor sore throat n cough. now its like the nose also jammed up. throat just wont work. all the phlegms are hanging out there la. one big congregation. all working together to make my life in the air-con office a living hell. so now, anyone know any good cough / throat meds ? or should i just go visit the doctor ?

as for wow.. i finally manage to get 5/5 merciless armor. now for the 2x 1handers and 1x 2hander left. with season 3 in about 4 weeks. thats really tough >< but with season3, blizz did a small buff on ench shamans :) so its great news.

on toys. bought myself 2 x darth vader - death stars. highly recommended. by far the best transformers-star wars toy. i would say, the only one bought form this line. honestly, the others are just crap. if u see these guys, get them :) should be about rm 200-250 now..
didnt do any sales on ebay at all. as it goes, work just makes me dumb.

on the muruk / karut girls. well i think everything has settled down. everyone is now cooled down. so no more advances by any parties. maybe i missed my chance eh. o well. need to improve on my signal reading skills :) as my BM has improved by 6%. lol

work is good upto now :) hope it stays that way..

WOW brewfest is based on Germany's Oktoberfest !

Brewfest is a new holiday event in World of Warcraft that will run October 2-16th. Based on the German Oktoberfest tradition, Brewfest quests can be completed for tickets, which may be exchanged for Bavarian-style costumes, collectible steins, and even a ram mount, which will be highly desirable to Horde players. This guide provides a quick breakdown of the Brewfest quests and repeatable dailies to help you get your new mount, non-combat pet, and eyesight-enhancing goggles. Where do I go?
Most of the quests are located in Durotar for Horde or Kharanos for Alliance. There are also Brewfest beer gardens located outside Silvermoon City, Darnassus, Undercity, Stormwind, Thunder Bluff, the Exodar, and Shattrath.

Brewfest Events
Dark Iron Dwarf Attacks
Dark Iron dwarves will try to steal the Brewfest Kegs every hour. Pick up a Complimentary Brewfest Sampler, drink the contents, and chuck the empty mug at a marauding dwarf. Each Dark Iron attacker you hit will earn you a Brewfest Ticket.

Brewfest Quests
Catch the Wild Wolpertinger
Wolpertingers are invisible jackalope-like creatures. Essentially we're talking a rabbit with antlers, wings, and a set of tiny fangs. This quest will reward you with your own Wolpertinger Tankard, which houses an adorable noncombat pet that is only visible to you or to characters who are drunk. To catch the wild wolpertinger, first drink enough to get your character totally wasted. You'll have several seconds of "completely smashed" to target the wolpertinger before you need to drink more to be able to see it. Tip: to see the wolpertinger more clearly, you might want to go into your video settings and temporarily turn off the drunk effect by switching off full screen glow.

Now This is Ram Racing... Almost
Learn how to ram race with this quest. (Tip: be sure to pick up your Ram Racing Reins from the apprentice standing next to the quest dude.) Your ram steed has four speeds, but can get fatigued if you make him run too fast for too long. Keep an eye on your ram's Fatigue debuff -- if it gets to 100, you'll have to stop for 15 seconds. Keep clicking the reins to shift between speeds. You can also run your ram by an apple bucket to remove the debuffs. After you complete this quest, you can do more races.

Did Someone Say, "Souvenir?"
Turn in your voucher and receive a Brewfest Stein from the festival greeter. Each stein type has a corresponding keg from which you can refill your mug.

Pink Elekks on Parade
Pick this up at the main festival grounds, along with Catch the Wild Wolpertinger. For this quest, you'll have to travel to each of the three other festival beer gardens for Alliance or Horde, get drunk, and chase off the aforementioned Pink Elekks. 75 tickets for completing this one.

Seek the Saboteurs
After a Dark Iron Dwarf attack, you may notice a set of Dark Iron Sabotage Plans on the ground. Loot them, and you'll get this quest to find Coren Direbrew in the Grim Guzzler in BRD. He's hiding in the bar behind the plans seller. Reward: Dark Iron Tankard (a level 54 off-hand which you can drink from).

Brewfest Daily Quests
There and Back Again
This is a delivery quest with a build-in time limit. Pick up the quest at the festival grounds, and you'll be given a racing ram. Head into the nearby town (Kharanos or Durotar) and grab a keg from the NPC standing next to the stack of barrels. Run your ram back to the festival and drop off the keg. The first time you do this quest, you have to deliver three kegs in four minutes, which will earn you 15 Brewfest prize tickets. After that, the quest will give you five tickets for each keg you deliver in the time allotted, with bonus time added every time you deliver a keg. You should be able to get 40-50 tickets a day this way.

Bark for the Barleybrews!Thunderbrews/T'chali's Voodoo Brewery/Drohn's Distillery!
These repeatable quests require you to take a ram to the four Brewfest flags (the ones with the big mugs on them) in Ironforge or Orgrimmar and promote a given brew. Since these quests were bugged on the PTRs, it's unclear whether you can complete the quest for both of the rival brewers, or if you have to pick one. Either way, completing one of these quests will earn you 50 tickets.

Brewfest Rewards
600 tickets - "Honorary Brewer" Hand Stamp
This stamp certifies you as an official Brewfest ram rider, allowing you to purchase both the normal level 40 Brewfest Ram (for 10g) or the Swift Brewfest Riding Ram (100g). The mounts are permanent, and are the same for both Horde and Alliance.
100 tickets - Eyesight Enhancing Romance Goggles ("Guaranteed to make EVERYONE look attractive!")
Equip these goggles, and you'll view every character or NPC you meet as either a gnome (Alliance) or orc (Horde). Sadly, the goggles have a 7 day duration.
Other, less awesome things to redeem your tickets for: Brewfest Pony Keg, Brewfest hats, Brewfest regalia, various food & drinks.

week 2 in VADS - TM Fault Management Call Center

As you guys know, i started work on the 11th of sept. its coming to 1 month now. with 1 week of on job training last week, its now my on job assessment week. i failed yesterdays test. did some fatal error by not verifying the customers number. with tomorrow being the last day of assessment, i want to pass and go live. thats means, if i pass i get to answer calls on my own =) wish me luck.

So during the mentor-menti sessions, i am practicing my BM. my BM on call has traces of chinese slang in them. that is a major disadvantage for me now. and english being my 1st language and with nearly 4 malay speaking frens, its an uphill battle for BM.

As you know, the english speaking mentor i spoke of earlier. i got to sit with her after 4.30pm, when 1st mentor gets off work. we had more chit chat session now. her name is misha or ilyana. lol. yet to find out her full name. we seem to get along well i think. she seems to like to ask questions and i also ask back la..from what i know she is single. she said..she dislikes dating cos of the guys "yang mengarut-ngarut" thats whats she says. lol. o well.

and there is this indian girl. we seems to talk alot too nowdays. she also ask me fetch her here n there, go visit her and make muruku and so on. lol.

all this is new and exciting.... lol.
